Jennifer O'Donnell has covered parenting and child rearing for more than 15 years as both a reporter and editor for both daily newspapers and national magazines.
She has been an active volunteer with a children's service organization since 2001, working primarily with tweens. Her reporting has garnered awards from numerous journalism organizations including Education Writers Association, The Virginia Press Association and Parenting Publications of America. She frequently lectures on the subject of parenting.
She is a graduate of Mary Washington College, and has received training in numerous specific areas regarding children and tweens. She is the mother of two children.
