Middle School Service Projects

By February 21, 2013

Many middle schools require students to participate in volunteer projects or take on a service project before they can graduate and move on to high school. Service projects give your child the chance to give back to the community and learn a bit about leadership and civic responsibility.

Your community, no doubt, has a number of service projects that your child can tackle, and a good place to begin is your child's own school. Contact the principal about ideas, or find one on your own by making contact with community leaders, church groups and other civic organizations.
