The tween years are years of milestones: puberty; middle school; dating and more. For girls, there's so much going on during these years that's it's almost impossible to know where to begin helping your daughter adjust to it all.
Begin by giving your tween someone to turn to when things get scary, whether's it's bullying, puberty or failing a test. Also, provide your child with the resources she'll need during the next few years, such as a guide book on how to deal with boys, or how to stand up to peer pressure.
Most of all, keep the lines of communication open, so when there's trouble on the horizon, you'll be sure to spot it.
