Looking for a fun recipe for a birthday party, or to celebrate Earth Day? This worms and dirt recipe is easy enough for your tween to make all by himself. But everyone will want to help him eat it!
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of cold milk (either 2 percent or whole)
- 1 package of instant chocolate pudding mix
- 8 ounce tub of whipped topping
- 1 package of Oreo cookies (crushed)
- Gummy worms
Preparation:
Prepare the chocolate pudding as indicated on the package, and then add your whipped topping and about half of the crushed cookies. (You can smash the Oreo cookies by placing them in a gallon-sized Ziploc bag. Seal the bag and crush the cookies with your hand.) Line small bowls, plastic drinking cups, or clean miniature clay pots with the crushed Oreos (save some of the crushed cookie mixture to place on top of your desserts). Pour pudding mix on top of the Oreo lining, and then top pudding mixture with your remaining crushed cookies (dirt). Stick two or three gummy worms on top of your dirt before serving.
