If you're worried your child won't take any more field trips once he enters middle school, don't fret it. Many middle schools still offer field trip opportunities and some schools will even take overnight field trips, if their budgets allow.
A field trip is a great way for your child to learn important material, and it's a break from the routines of the classroom. Be sure you read the trip information carefully, so you fully understand the rules, the cost and the deadlines. And if your schedule allows, consider chaperoning the trip. It might be fun for you, too.
