The challenges of puberty can be tough for both parent and child. It's tough growing up, and it's tough watching your child grow up. Children need guidance during these years, from you, most of all. And if puberty problems surface, such as early or late puberty, body image issues, or other challenges, it makes your role that much more important.

Guide your child with love and information. Children have questions about their changing bodies, and they may also need a little emotional support and understanding, as well.

A good book or other resource can help you through this, and answer questions your child may be too embarrassed to ask.
