Sleepovers are fun to attend and even more fun to host. But if your child has a sleepover planned on the horizon, it's a good idea to discuss rules ahead of time. Be specific about what's off limits (including rooms, food, movies, etc.) and talk about potential problems ahead of time, before the other children arrive.
Be sure to check on the kids every now and then, and to intervene if there are problems. Then, sit down and enjoy.
